A short fast allows the stomach to rest and recover inflammation after an episode of vomiting..after which you can start feeding small, frequent amounts of bland diet plain, unseasoned, boiled shredded chicken and rice, pumpkin, mashed boiled potatoes, mashed cooked carrots, mashed cooked sweet potatoes..

Hi, you can give high carb diet things like white rice and curd/ rice and boiled potatoes (white) is very easy to digest. Chicken broth and rice with mashed potatoes or egg white and rice with potatoes are also good options. You can also try serving it cold, helps to reduce gastric irritation. Overcook the ingredients and give smaller servings, it'll help. It is difficult for dogs to digest fiber you can avoid giving vegetables and fruits for 2-3 days whenever your pet has a gastric upset.

Can we feed dogs dosa? My 4months puppy loves dosa. Some of the other pet parents suggested us to feed dosa without salt. We also want to know if dogs shouldn’t be fed salt. Any suggestions on dosa and salt?
