This happened to my pet as well but not this much it was very less, as they keep scratching there it makes it worse, would suggest you to keep an eye that your pet is not scratching that area alot. And my vet recommended DERMICHLOR SPRAY it is for antifungal and antibacterial. This spray worked for him.

Hello. If it's recurrent and subsides on its own, it could an Allergic Dermatitis but definitely needs to be differentiated from bacterial/fungal/atopic dermatitis. Get his blood work done to rule out above said conditions. If he isn't active like before and has a tick infestation history, getting CBC done is highly recommended.

Adoption

We are fostering this absolutely adorable, dream dog Luna. She is around 3 years old, Indie GSD mix, was rescued from the streets by my friend 3 weeks back. Luna was abandoned on the streets outside my friend’s society in a terrible condition. She had acute dermatitis & her skin was almost rotting. We have been able to bring her back to good health & healed her skin. She is now thriving along with my dog Penny who is the best foster sister any dog have. Luna is a pet dog who was abandoned & has been wandering the streets since 4 months. Please help us find a loving, caring home for our Luna. Our preference is Bangalore but we are open to PAN India adoption if the adopters are willing to share her travel expense with us 🙏🏻 We have been looking for her forever home since a month but haven’t had any luck coz the adoption world is too unkind to adult & senior dogs, especially if they’re Indies 😞 Please spread the word about Luna & share her appeal in your groups, socials etc 💕

QnA

I know that golden retrievers are bred in India with a tolerance for heat, unlike the original which stays only in cold climates. However, can I assume that my golden retriever puppy has a higher cold tolerance? I see that he loves to sleep in the floor but sometimes I also see him sleeping like this, trying to be all tucked in. Should I get him a bed? Could he be feeling cold? The reason I haven’t bought one for him is because he chews on everything, including metal. If I gave him something with a mattress, I’m positive he might end up pulling out the cotton etc in a couple of days. I know there are some anti-chew beds on the market, but my question here is that whether I should look for something that keeps him warm or cool…
