Hi dr I just found like 1/2 ticks in my pet I took him to vet he gav an injection and he gav a tablet also N also he said us to visit weekly once for injection He mentioned tht ticks has laid eggs I find it risk taking Can u give me a alternative way to come over ticks Also attaching the prescription

Hi Keerthi. The medicine prescribed by the doctor is a better option. If he has asked you to visit him for next 2 consecutive weeks, it must be a mite infestation, where in even the eggs are seen through microscope. If it’s a confirmed case if mite infestation, an ivermectin injection for 3 consecutive weeks is a correct treatment.
