Hi, commercial foods will always have some preservatives, artificial colours and additives which can be harmful in the long run. Royal canin though is comparatively much better than most brands in Indian market. Feeding commercial food is more of a convenience that a compulsion, if you can prepare a well balanced fresh home made food for your pet would obviously be a healthier option.

Try Orijen! It’s even better than Royal Canin. Orijen is a powerful and incredibly healthy solution for your dog’s nutritional needs. All of the proteins, vitamins and minerals that your dog will receive come from all-natural sources, which is enough of a blessing in today’s world of processed animal foods. But yes as per the earlier note, nothing can beat a home made food.

Yes please, it's ok for you to continue with some level of commercial food. You can continue with royal canin, if you are looking for better food options you can give n and d, orijen or arden grange.
