Hi Madhu. It can be genetic/may be an adult coat which is common in poodles. But anyhow to be on safer side, get his thyroid levels checked along with LFT and KFT. Plz add any omega 3,6 fatty acids supplement in his diet. Use any non medicated shampoo which has conditioner in it (preferably alovera or oatmeal based one).
Madhu
Thank you doctor

My pet is 1.5 years old, and I've been diligent about cleaning his ears daily. Recently, I noticed a brown discharge in his left ear. Upon closer inspection, the ear appears to be clean, but when I wiped it with a white cloth, I observed a dark-colored discharge. Can someone please help me understand what might be happening with my pet? Thank you in advance.
