Hi Anuja. It’s called as resource guarding, wherein a pet feels protective for the things the he/she likes. This can be corrected through a proper training. Use commands and treats when your pet does that. I also suggest you to take a training from kuddle professionals.

@anuja, what you can probably do is trade the slipper for something better and teach him drop command. If you forcefully pick something from his mouth regularly, it could lead to resource guarding. Give him another toy or a natural bone when he picks up the slippers. He will naturally drop the slipper for the higher rewarding toy. Sharing from my personal experience.

Hello All My puppy 9 weeks old bites a lot. Vet says it's teething. How long do puppy's teeth? How do you inhibit them from biting your skin or injuring you? I have brought several toys but he only wants to play with people skin or clothes.

I was kind of worried about him sleeping in these posture lately as I checked up on goodgle and it said,” they might have difficulty in breathing” but to make this clear to every pet parent out there if your woof is doing this lately but not continuously it’s Normal, it’s either becasue they need attention or maybe the heat. “This is what his vet told us”. Summers are so hard for woofs like him with fur all over them, Tender coconut & buttermilk is the best coolers for them! 🌿
