Hi Tamanna. The main reasons are male dominance, possessiveness towards resources or territory and fear from threat. 1. Get the younger one neutered as early as possible. 2. Training is important. 3. Intervene as the aggression starts but don’t punish. 4. Swap their beds so that the younger one gets used to the smell of older one. 4. Seeing a behaviourist is the best option.

What kind of Intervene can I follow?

Stop him as he starts getting aggressive towards the other one. Use commands and treats. Never punish or yell at him.

I have a 8 month old male shih Tzu. He has recently developed a taste for home made wheat flour chapatis. I see the research is divided on the topic so want to understand from experts and fellow pet parents if it's okay to give chapati.
