Hi, milk can sometimes cause lactose intolerance in dogs. Though your puppy might be tolerant it would generally be better to try it when the puppy is older than 5 months, in case pup is intolerant it will be very difficult to manage at such a young age. Fermented milk products like curd/ yogurt are safer because the lactose is converted to lactic acid and is generally well tolerated. Milk is also know to be highly allergenic to certain individuals, better to try only after 5 months.

Fruits like grapes and avocados to be avoided completely, apples, banana, watermelon and muskmelon can be given but you should deseed and peel them appropriately. Vegetables like onion, tomato, ginger and garlic to be avoided, carrot , cucumber, pumpkin (cooked), beans(cooked) can be started in moderate amounts. Raisins and macadamia nuts also can be toxic hence should be avoided completely.

ADOPTION APPEAL 🐾 Say hi to Theo!
He’s a 1 year old Labrador. Very friendly and loving. I am putting him up for adoption since he needs a bigger home preferably with other dogs.
I am travelling abroad soon and my family is not willing to take care of him sadly.
He’s adorable, big foodie, healthy and vaccinated dog.
If anyone is interested or if you know someone who is pls pls comment on this post :)

Adoption
Hi! I’m fostering a puppy called Feb.
He’s around 2 months old, I found him near combo plates, bannerghatta on 19th February.
Seems to be a Rottweiler or Doberman mix.
He’s a very healthy and extremely friendly boy.
Deworming and flea spray - done
Vaccination scheduled - soon
I’m a college student making it difficult for me to continue taking care of him.
Any family or tenants who would love to adopt this sweet boy, please contact: 9686957303,8 likes•2 comments•473 views
