Improper grooming schedule can be one of the cause for shedding. Ideally, once in a two weeks you should go for professional grooming. Labrador shed 2-3 times a year. Recently the weather changed in bangalore and they would be shedding their winter coat. It will be there for 1-2 weeks as far as I have seen in my dogs
