No. It doesn't make a difference. The redness may be due to friction, for now you can stop and see if the redness disappears, if it increases book an appointment with a vet to discuss in detail about this and to rule out bacterial and fungal infection.

Adoption
Theo is a super cute and friendly Labrador. He is healthy, a big foodie, is vaccinated, good with humans, kids and other dogs. He is a bit hyperactive and requires physical activities like playing and running regularly. He needs a family that understands his needs. I’m putting him up for adoption as I’m moving abroad and there’s no one to take care of him :(
