Hi! Maggie is experiencing redness in her ears. This is second time since January/February. We completed the course prescribed by the veterinary during the first time and thought the issues have resolved as the redness disappeared. She is not scratching her ears much, just after she wakes up she does scratch once or twice. What could be the underlying reasons for this sudden redness? Could it be allergy or something else? P.S. Also, she's showing symptoms of pseudo pregnancy like secretion from tits and high energy (mostly asking permission for humping) especially after her meals.

Hi Swati. This looks like a yeast infection called Malasseziosis. It’s cured through anti fungals, not just by one cycle but 2-3, until there’s complete recovery. There are chances of Maggie having bacterial infection along with malasseziosis. Hence, I suggest you to either speak to any vet online or through home visit on kuddle to get proper treatment.
