Hi, Maggie is in her second heat and her tits are enlarged but one of her tits seems unusual. The skin seems inflamed / pink (at the base). What could this be?

No she's not licking it. She's not even paying attention to it but since we observed so wanted to know if it's normal.

Ok. If there’s no milk discharge or if she isn’t licking it, it should be considered normal as in some cases, teats become inflamed during or after the heat.
