Right now, we give our dog dry food three times a day, with each meal being 100 grams, and we also give him half an apple and one carrot.
We're thinking to give him dry food only two times a day, with each meal being 150 grams, so he still gets the same amount of nutrition. But we're worried that having only two meals might leave longer gaps between eating times. So, we're considering adding ONLY VEG soup as an meal once a day.
Pls note: We do not give him non veg except kibbles & wet food

Is that fine? If yes, what should be the composition?

Hi, if your pet is 1 year 8 months old now. It's absolutely ok for him to be on 2 meals in a day and a snack meal in the afternoon to break the gap between the meals. The quantities however will depend on the brand that you are using, please reconfirm the quantities based on specifications on the pack. Snack can be the veg soup with some wet food mixed with it. The two meals and snack should be spaced 8 hours apart.

Hi, you can offer one boiled egg. If you want to give soup, chicken broth would be much better than veg stock. Slow cook chicken legs in water for 40-50 mins, remove the pieces and offer the broth after cooling. You can store this in the refrigerator for upto 3 days. Can add some bottle gourd, brocolli and beans or any other seasonal vegetables to the Chicken.

Okay, we are pure vegetarian.
Is a 7-hour gap between meals okay instead of 8?
