Hello Doctor ..I saw this on my Sparkle's body. Not sure what it is can you pls help. This is near his urinating area... I took him to vet n he prescribed below medicines. From Saturday we r giving this twice after food 1.5 tab in breakfast n 1.5 tab in dinner. Redness has decreased but I noticed he is low on energy n is peeing a lot... more than usual. Can you pls suggest 🙏
At 7 months it could be puppy impetigo, other reason can be contact dermatitis/ flea bite allergy if there are any fleas on him please apply some fipronil spray. The condition by itself or the meds should not cause excessive urination/ dullness. If he is very dull please get him examined otherwise you can continue the same medicine. Use kiskin lotion on the affected area, but make sure he doesn't lick himself for 15 mins after application. You can also use a medicated shampoo like conaseb for some time.
