"Seeking Advice for My Beloved Pitbull Bella 🐾" Hey there, fellow pet lovers! 🐢 I'm reaching out to you all today with a bit of a concern about my 6-month-old pitbull puppy, Bella. She's always been a big fan of chicken, and I used to feed her 1kg of it each day. However, for the past month, I've noticed a significant change in her appetite. She barely touches her food, even when I reduced it to Β½ kg. I've been keeping her meal simple by just cooking the chicken with a pinch of turmeric powder. It's been a routine that Bella enjoyed, but now, I'm puzzled by her sudden disinterest in food. I know many of you are experienced pet owners, and I would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you might have about this situation. Is there something I'm missing or any tips on how to entice her to eat again? Bella means the world to me, and I want to make sure she's happy and healthy. πŸ™πŸ• Please drop your thoughts and suggestions below, and let's help Bella get back to her wagging, happy self!

Hi Jenshin do take the Nutritionist consultation who will guide you with more food options, maybe a change in protein will give her a variation in taste and entice her to eat.

The requirements for a growing pup would vary depending on a lot of factors, one of which is which stage of growth they are in. In the first few months when they are growing the fastest the requirements are very high, but at 6 months now Bella is not growing as fast as she was earlier so her requirements would change. As long as she is gaining her weight appropriately and there are no other medical concerns you can also try giving her eggs/ mutton etc for variety to see if she eats better.
