My shihtzu coco has a light pink spot on his penis. I see him licking that area a lot as well, is this normal?

Hi mam...The pic is not v. clear..A moderate degree of licking is a part of normal grooming behaviour, but excessive licking in this area may indicate a medical problem such as allergies （ contact dermatitis or seasonal allergies）or UTI or disorders affecting the prepuce （trauma, balanoposthitis） etc..Kindly look out for any rashes or abnormal discharge （pus, blood）...
