Rice is not very important for canines, it's absolutely ok if she doesn't want to have it at all. If you want you can try red or brown rice and see if she likes it. You can also use ragi, oats or quinoa as alternate carbohydrate sources. Potato and sweet potato can also be given. Carbs should be given in moderation, don't give too much.

I know that golden retrievers are bred in India with a tolerance for heat, unlike the original which stays only in cold climates. However, can I assume that my golden retriever puppy has a higher cold tolerance? I see that he loves to sleep in the floor but sometimes I also see him sleeping like this, trying to be all tucked in. Should I get him a bed? Could he be feeling cold? The reason I havenโt bought one for him is because he chews on everything, including metal. If I gave him something with a mattress, Iโm positive he might end up pulling out the cotton etc in a couple of days. I know there are some anti-chew beds on the market, but my question here is that whether I should look for something that keeps him warm or coolโฆ3 commentsโข116 views
