I have two female Shih Tzu puppies. One of them is eating her own poop and also the other puppy's poop.
As suggested by vet, I have changed her food, but the problem is still there. I clean the poop quickly, but sometimes she eats it before I can stop her.
Please suggest what else I can do to stop this?
Hi Anu. Eating poop is a habit which comes mainly due to nutritional deficiency or anxiety. Make sure you are providing a well balanced diet. See that he is occupied all the time when awake.
Try giving fecal deterrent tablets and observe.
