Was the pet vaccinated before? Or it is a new start ?

Planning to adopt a new pet around 1 year old. Can you help with list of vaccines that will be required on a recurring basis
Dr. Tajunnisa M
If vaccination has never been done, it is advisable to give one dose of vaccine against canine distemper virus(CDV), canine adenovirus type 1 (ICH), canine parvovirus (CPV) and canine parainfluenza virus (CPi) along with Leptospirosis and Rabies followed by a booster dose after 21 days. It is also suggested to deworm once in 4 to 5 months after 6 months of age.

The vaccine against these diseases available either in a single vial or 2 seperate vials which can be injected at once.

Another day ! Another rescue ! A five year old husky , who was apparently “gifted” to someone at the age of one year . He’s now five years and been chained in the balcony all these years , yes that’s the type of water & food he gets living there . Not vaccinated , not groomed , not vet checked . What did these innocent souls do ? To punish them ? All he wanted is a good life . He was locked up in the balcony and tied not able to reach his water or food bowl . Can’t sleep either . Yet he trusts humans . That’s the unconditional love . He was super happy to be out of the jail Let me get this straight , why we are so stringent to the adoption process , huskies , St. Bernard etc etc such breeds are mistaken . That they can be raised in any environment. Please stop “gifting “ these aren’t toys to be gifted to someone who doesn’t know how to even keep a dog . Please stop buying , for your satisfaction and putting these lives into trouble .

I know that golden retrievers are bred in India with a tolerance for heat, unlike the original which stays only in cold climates. However, can I assume that my golden retriever puppy has a higher cold tolerance? I see that he loves to sleep in the floor but sometimes I also see him sleeping like this, trying to be all tucked in. Should I get him a bed? Could he be feeling cold? The reason I haven’t bought one for him is because he chews on everything, including metal. If I gave him something with a mattress, I’m positive he might end up pulling out the cotton etc in a couple of days. I know there are some anti-chew beds on the market, but my question here is that whether I should look for something that keeps him warm or cool…
