My 2 yr old golden female has this patch on her front leg elbow. Can I apply some ointment. The skin looks flaky. She's not licking it as far as I have observed her. Thanks

I have a dobermann 10 months old. Two months ago he started limping as his left front paw swollen and the vet gave him three shots of pentorse 100. Now he is limping and looks like his right paw is hurting him. No visible injury nor swelling. Vet gave him Hexia tablets. What would be the reason? And what’s happening?
