Hi! My female lab 1 year 3 months now had her first heat on 2nd July, 2023. When should we be prepared for her next heat? Is there a regular cycle patterns in dogs? If yes, then Maggie should be having her heat by now but she hasn't had her heat yet.

Hi Swati. The heat cycle varies with every breed. Some, especially small breeds come to heat twice to thrice a year whereas larger breeds once to twice in a year. So, you can expect her to have heat again within 4/5 months.

Hello, Cheeni is looking for her forever home. Cheeni is 4 month old female who was rescued with a fractured limb when she was just 1.5 months old.
