Dogs go through a shedding period once in 6-8 months, this period can vary from individual to individual. Ways to differentiate between regular seasonal shedding and abnormal shedding: Abnormal shedding will be associated with infection on the skin, dryness, flakes, pustules, redness on the skin, which is usually associated with itching and shows up with bald patches. If there are no such symptoms you don't need to worry it's probably just a seasonal shed.

Hi Dr,
My 2 month GR puppy is having loose motion from morning. We are feeding him RC starter 3-4 times a day from the time we got him, no issues till this morning. when we woke up he had very watery motion once then he has had motion almost 5-6 times in very small qty. the stool is hard but little liquid along with it like water.
He had his normal RC in the morning with the same enthusiasm.3 comments•96 views
