There's no natural remedy or substitute for deworming. You can deworm your pet once in 4/5 months after reaching one year. The vegetables and fruits rich in fibre can only help in easy expulsion of worms with stools but they have no antihelmintic activity.

The worms that your pet might be carrying (if the mother is not dewormed approximately) can also harm you or your family members.
