Hi Aakriti. There are no such potential side effects from shoes, it's just that it should be used only for walking. Shoes shouldn't be used for long time as pets use their paws to clean themselves along with scratching which is an obvious natural defensive behaviour. Secondly, with an excessive use along with moisture, blisters (what we call as shoe bite) can be seen in rare conditions.
