You can mix both dry and wet food. Wet food contains amino acids which are essential for cats
Dr. Anukarna Singh
A balance of both is always better, but if the cat prefers to eat wet food alone make sure you understand the right quantities based on his/ her age and bodyweight. If your pet prefers to eat only dry, make sure he/ she drinks enough water if not try to stimulate your pet to drink more water by giving chicken broth.
