Hi, Needed a suggestion, my cat is around 1.5 years old he is yet to be neutered since few days i have noticed him sniffing the floor all the time and loud meows, should I be concerned?

There are community cats but we stay in 6th floor and our cat does not go downstairs. It could be because of the scent?
